Some people think that life is a contest. They believe that the amount of stuff you have been through is a competition and whoever has been through the most wins. I believe the person who goes through the most with a smile on their face should win. I don't understand how people can treat other people so horribly, and not even consider, "Hey maybe they go through a lot and are struggling to get to tomorrow." Some people are afraid to wake up in the morning, because they were afraid of what might come their way. I've been afraid before. Before you say something hurtful to me, just realize:
I know how it feels to have a grandmother who doesn't really remember me.
I know how it feels to have a mother who was scared because of cancer.
I know how it feels to be lied to.
I know how it feels to be cheated on.
I know how it feels to be pressured.
I know how it feels to be hurt.(Physically and emotionally)
I know how it feels when you think that you have nobody to rely on.
I know how it feels when you lose someone you love.
I know these things and yeah life is hard. But through everything I have tried my hardest to be like my mother and my grandmother and smile through everything.
My grandma. She was a widow at 40, and now she doesn't remember anything, but she still wakes up every morning and smiles, and she knows that she has people who love her and she knows that God will always be there for her. And he is faithful.
My mother. Lost her daddy when she was 20, went through breast cancer, and now has a mother who has to battle Parkinsons and Lewy Body Dementia.
I'm amazed by these women who go through so much, and yet smile everyday of their life and take it by the horns and they don't let anybody get in their way.
If anything I wish to be more like them.
The main point I want to get across is
Yeah; Life is hard, but you have to realize God knows what he is doing. Everything happens for a reason and through it all you just have to smile. He will never put more on you than he believes you can take. Mama always says, "I sometimes wish God didn't trust me so much." lol But he trusts her because she is strong and he knows she'll get through it and won't give up.
"Speak God's name; Satan Trembles.
Speak God's word and watch him flee."

This made me cry, smile, and think, "This is a very special young lady" I'm so glad & happy that I got to meet you and your family--Blessings!
WOW was all I could think of when I read this blog. What a tremendous young lady to have written something so heartfelt. She is her mother's daughter. Sheri has always come up with such moving songs and you know they've come from an experience. It seems that Morgan has that in her as well. It was awesome! Take care, God bless.
